Howdy!
I was watching the news, and saw this article about Sarah Jessica Parker [or whatever her name is] and the girl who is carrying her twins.
And the amount of bagging they gave that poor girl was horrible. They described her as a ‘tattooed, pierced [at least, I think it was that] and into heavy metal’. Which categorized her as someone that shouldn’t be carrying kids.
My mum and I had this instant reaction.
Mine was ‘that’s like telling every other mother or soon-to-be mum who has tattoos, piercings or listens to heavy music, shouldn’t be a mother and will be a bad influence.’
My mum’s was ‘those hypocritical bastards whose wives probably did that back in the day, should get a life.’
I prefer my mum’s quote better.
But it was just like saying to every other woman ‘don’t get piercings, don’t get tattoos, don’t listen to heavy metal, or you are worthy to be a mother.’
Its heavily stupid. Some people should get lives and stop complaining about others to mask their own pain.
